So there’s this thing called “Supper Club” that takes place every month-ish at the Creative Alliance’s “farm to fork” restaurant called The Marquee Lounge. The chef cooks a themed meal and everyone at the table shares if family style! This month, in honor of Baltimore Beer Week, the theme is beer. Nick, “The Baltimore Beer Trekker” will be at the dinner table sharing his knowledge of brewing table.

Bring A Date?
Well, it’s a dinner date with a fun little twist. It’s a bit pricey at $40 a person but that includes a number of craft beers and a five course menu! The family style seating may make it distracting for a first date but could be an excellent date to bring along friends to or to assess what your date is like among different types of people. After dinner, take a walk around Patterson Park to walk off the beer, fried chicken and chocolate porter cupcakes. Or you can head over to Johnny Rad’s and challenge your date to Skeeball. Either way, make sure you have an opportunity to have some alone time with your date.

FInd A Date?
So the food is served at 7 but there is mixing and mingling at 6:30, this is your opportunity to make friends before you sit down. Probably be good to bring a friend and just casually chat with everyone at the table. The family style seating (and the beer) will get everyone to open up pretty quickly. Take advantage of that & exchange numbers with someone you found intriguing.

TL;DR
Come as strangers, leave as friends (or at least drunk on craft beer).
