PRETTY-N-DRINK: 80s CLASSIC MOVIES/DRINKING SOCIAL – 1/14
GHOSTBUSTERS NIGHT AT THE WINDUP SPACE – 1/16

The Windup Space seems to be having a bit of an 80s week! While I’m partial to that other two for Tuesdays happening down the street, I can’t pass up an opportunity to watch John Hughes’ films. I always loved Ferris Bueller more than Jake Ryan and I’m pretty sure Sloan Peterson is one of the best girlfriends of teen film history.

Bring A Date?
Fellas, bring your gal to the cinema to see the films of yesteryear for free! They’re both cute, low pressure, movie dates that you can chat through which eliminates the reason why movie dates usually suck. Pretty-n-Drink will likely be a bit more low key while Ghostbusters night will be filled with shenanigans (music, comedy, movies, etc.) so choose your dates wisely.

Find A Date?
Pretty-n-Drink will be like going to see The Legwarmers without being in a room filled with people that would actually go see The Legwarmers. I imagine the ratio will lean female heavy (I don’t know when the 80s became a girl thing). Men, this is your chance to be witty with 80s humor. Two for 1 drinks simply SCREAMS pick up a date! Find a girl that can appreciate Weird Science jokes & get her a drink. 

Ghostbusters night will probably lean men heavy so those that prefer dudes should make their move. Either way, I recommend dressing accordingly because if that’s not a conversation starter, then I don’t know what is.

TL;DR
So when you’re feeling real low and dirty, and your heart is splattered all over hell, don’t look to me to pump you back up ‘cause maybe for the first time in your life I won’t be there!”

Alternatively… “Ray, when someone asks you if you’re a god, you say “YES”!”
