1/30 – MATCH.COM STIR HAPPY HOUR AT LEINENKUGEL’S (A REVIEW)

Alright guys, I did a bunch of research for you on dating events over the last 3 weeks, so I’ll post them all week.

Cost: $5 (Free if you’re a Match subscriber—currently I’m a non-paying member but I’ve subscribed in the past.)
Time: 7PM-10PM
Ages Welcome: 20s to 40s
Ages Attended: Roughly 30s
Number of Attendees: ~60-75
Summary:
Arrived around 8 there were about 50 people in a roped off section of the bar (it was a bit cramped). Checked in & received a name tag from an adorable girl at entrance (more than one guy tried to get with her). Met a really awkward/pushy guy upon arrival that made my friend uncomfortable. My friend that lives in Towson eventually found a dude that also lives in the county wearing an awful grey sweater. They’ve been out a few times.

Room was filled with dudes mostly in their thirties that were not really my type, but I chatted with a few. Met a guy that lived in Fed Hill—he was cute but sloppy drunk especially for a Thursday night. We exchanged numbers, he never called. Women skewed a bit younger but, my goodness, were the women absolutely beautiful.
TL;DR:
Meh. Match crowd (Fed Hill/Canton/Finance) in Power Plant Live! Not my scene but I’d like to try out one of the more activity based events.
Pro-Tip: 
Even if you’re not a paying Match subscriber, you get invited to the Stir events anyway but have to pay a bit more than if you were.
