2/17 – SPEED DATING AT RAMS HEAD CENTER STAGE (A REVIEW)

Cost: $31 (but you can bring a friend for free + $20 in free slot play)
Time: 7PM-9PM

Summary:
Arrived around 6:45 and checked in at Rams Head Center Stage in Maryland Live Casino. Was given a 2 for one drink ticket, $20 in free slot play & a raffle ticket. Mingling and snacks (burger sliders, chicken skewers) were had.

Speed dating started at 7:30 & each women was given a number and sat in a different booths. We were given a paper to write down notes about the guys. Each guy came over and we had 5 minutes to chat. Most of the guys lived in the suburbs (2 guys actually living in Baltimore both lived in Fed Hill). I didn’t talk to any women during the mingling period but several men expressed they didn’t get out much so this was their social outing.

I only met one guy that I really liked (which was the 1st guy I met) and one guy that was completely socially awkward. The other guys just kind of fell in the middle. At the end of the event they did the raffle which included dinner gift certificates & slot play (I didn’t win) and turned in our sheets. 

I tried to be open-minded so picked 7 guys and said no to 8. The next day, they send your email to people you pick. You receive emails for people that pick you. They let you know if there’s a mutual match. I didn’t get a single match but two guys choose me. I honestly couldn’t remember most of the guys by the end of the night (even though I took notes) yet alone the next day. Photos of the guys would’ve been nice.

Whatever. I took my $20 slot play and made $100 at the Willy Wonka machine with my best friend & got my blog called out by the hosts!

TL;DR:
It’s exactly like the movies (except with a bit more privacy)
Pro-Tip:
There’s more speed dating here but the only one worth your money is the one at the casino because… free slot play!
