Bring A Date?
Go book picking, check out a band, a reading, a seminar. You can even devise an entire itinerary based around all the different events taking place over the weekend! This is a good way to learn something together or show your date some side of fiction, comics, etc. that they may have never known. Let your nerdy side shine!

There’s also food stands available to make your book outing even more enjoyable. As Mount Vernon residents are quite aware, this is one of those events that take up all the parking spaces so do yourself a favor and hop on the circulator and don’t forget to bring a container to carry home all your loot!

Find A Date?
There are tons of workshops to check out including DIY Graphic Novels, The Art of Coffee, Poetry Readings and so much more. If you have any interest in any book or comic related topic there’s bound to be one other person of your preferred gender(s) that shares that same interest at this event. Niche topics are really awesome at locating like-minded people that have something they’re very passionate about. Take advantage of that!
